Hidden Tilt Shutters

Alumacore offers two different types of tilt, standard tilt and hidden tilt. Standard tilt shutters have the tilt bar mounted on the front; this makes for traditional appearing shutters. Hidden tilt shutters have the louver controlling mechanism in the back rear of the louvers. Our hidden tilt shutters have a metal rod connecting the shutters, which are attached on the edge of the louvers on the rear side of the shutter itself. Why would you want hidden tilt in your home? Hidden tilt gives the appearance of very clean, sleek looking shutter. Hidden tilt is a modern up to date style that has become increasingly popular for many buyers. What makes our hidden tilt different? We use a very strong “T” shaped aluminum hidden tilt bar where other companies will use an “I” flat style bar. Our “T” shaped bar has rigidity, which helps all the connected louvers operate properly. Each louver is attached to the tilt bar with a pan head screw for a well-secured product that helps with movement of each louver when connected.
